Tournament of Champions

The 23rd Annual Tournament of Champions Band Review was held at Fairfield High School on Saturday, November 19, 2011. Results can be viewed at the NCBAonline website. Thank you to all the participants and volunteers who helped make this event happen.

 

"Cherry Blossom Time" Crab Feed

Tickets are on sale now for the 16th Annual Scarlet Brigade "Cherry Blossom Time" Crab Feed Fundraiser to be held on Friday, January 27, 2012 at Joe Nelson Community Center in Suisun. The theme is in honor of the Scarlet Brigade Marching Band trip to Washington DC to participate in the National Cherry Blossom Festival Parade. This sellout event features all you can eat crab, pasta, salad and bread. Chicken will be available for non crab eaters. There will be entertainment featuring the Fairfield High School Jazz Combo and Scarlet Brigade Pipes and Drums. Silent auction and raffle will benefit the Scarlet Brigade Trip Fund. Doors open and no host bar at 5:30 pm. Dinner service at 7:00 pm. Tickets cost $40 per person. Reserved seating can be arranged for 8 or more. Download the ticket order form and submit without delay to reserve your seat.

Scarlet Brigade Band Boosters

Scarlet Brigade Band Booster meetings are held on the fourth Monday of most months. The next meeting (skipping December) for the 2011-12 year will be held on Monday, January 23rd at 7PM in the Band Room E1. Parents, please attend and get involved. This is the place to get information on band activities and events and ask questions. The students will be working very hard this year and will need parental support to be successful. See you there!

Chaperone info: Scarlet Brigade parent chaperones are needed for various band activities throughout the year. How do you become a chaperone? It is really quite simple. Information on becoming a chaperone can be found here.

Attention - Band Boosters and Bingo Volunteers

To schedule bingo hours contact Rose Baker at 430-8098. This number is a dedicated cell phone line to be used strictly for scheduling and canceling bingo hours. Please do not use this number for other band business. If you have scheduled a bingo shift and need to cancel please call and give advance notice. 48 hours notice is great, 24 hours is nice, same day cancellation is unacceptable.
